Terms and Conditions
Valid for two persons per voucher. Flights are on a shared basis. Minimum of 2 people per flight; Must be used in 1 visit. Provide Booking Reference upon arrival. Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your flight. Slipper Island Resort requires a $100 cash bond for each room, payable upon check-in. The bond will be refunded to the guest upon check-out if no issues being defected in the room.Bookings canceled by the client up to 14 days of the day of travel are not subject to a cancellation fee and will receive a full refund. Bookings canceled by the client within 14 days of the day of arrival will be charged the total amount. In the case of a no-show, the full amount will be charged.
Reservation dates can be changed by the guest up to 7 days of the day of check-in but changing dates are subject to availability and rate change during peak periods. The supplier (Air Auckland & Slipper Island Resort) will only reschedule the trip for the guest free for ONE time. A processing fee of $100 per voucher will be applied if the guest needs to reschedule for more than one time.
In the event of weather or operational conditions that we can’t make the trip on the day (the client is not on Slipper yet), we will contact you in advance to offer a postponement date or cancel the booking. The cancellation of the trip by the supplier includes accommodation and return flights. Bookings canceled by the supplier a full refund will be issued. Once the cancellation decision is made by the supplier, then access to Slipper Island Resort is not permitted.
In the event of weather or operational conditions that we can’t fly / boat the client back (the client is already on the Island):
If the weather doesn’t permit either flying provided by Air Auckland or boating services by Slipper, clients are welcomed to stay on the island until either method of transport is the FIRST best option, and Slipper reserves the right to move the Client to other room;
if transportation by sea is weather permitting and available by the Slipper Skipper, an amount of $400/couple will be refunded to the client, and a complimentary ground transportation back to Ardmore will be provided to the client (In this case, The Skipper will take control of the best time to get the client off the Island and Slipper will communicate with the client accordingly); if a third-party transportation service provider (MUST be a commercial operator; a boat company must have a current MOSS certification is hired by the client, apart from Air Auckland and Slipper Island Resort, an amount of $400/couple will be refunded to the client and no complimentary ground transportation back to Ardmore will be provided.
Right to cancel accommodation contract by Slipper Island Resort
Slipper Island Resort will cancel the accommodation contract when:
the Guest seeking accommodation is deemed liable to conduct himself/herself in a manner that will contravene the laws or act against the public order or good morals in regard to his/her accommodations; or the Guest seeking accommodation can be clearly detected as carrying an infectious disease; or the Guest seeking accommodation is deemed liable to behave in a manner due to intoxication or other causes and no gang patch is allowed; or Slipper Island Resort deems the guest as inappropriate. Slipper Island Resort will retain the right to cancel the accommodation contact with the client if any of the stated circumstances occurs, and the unused accommodation cost will be refunded.
